About

I started drawing when I was little… as I got older, it continued. :) I sold my first painting, professionally, when I was 16 after it was seen in an art show.

Although I’ve had several different jobs since then, I’ve almost always managed to weave design and/or illustration into my work; be it in advertising, event management, newsletter editor & designer, or instructing university 3rd and 4th year students on how to create effective & sharp posters for their final projects.

If you’re noticing that my (below) services have now changed, I’ve recently re-adjusted my focus to be mainly on creating artwork in various forms. I’m very excited about this next stage in my life!

        • Color and emotion, an experiment: The science behind getting your audience where you want them.
        • Poster design, class critiquing and redesign: The bad, the good, and the ugly.

    Testimonials:

“Just a short note to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!
Your excellent facilitation of the teaching/learning session today and yesterday was greatly appreciated. The evaluative feedback from students on their Praxis Day (Poster Presentations) is exceedingly positive. Clearly, the students want more of these types of educational preparation and earlier in our program.
We look forward to further collaboration…
    All the best.”
    –Maggie, Health & Human Services

“Fabulous work! Your desire to help others learn is what the teaching and learning center is all about.”

“Kerry and I wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful work that you did while we were in vancouver island.  I really did leave energized and have many new thoughts on research, student learning and faculty needs.  Thank you for being part of our efforts.  We do hope to have a long term relationship with our new Canadian friends.
… I can say that in all of our visits to dozens of campuses, we have never been treated any better and there has never been a campus more on top of things than yours.  Hats off to all of you.”
